Albert W. Wilson, a druggist who resided on Crescent Avenue near Delaware Park, published postcards of Buffalo and western New York communities. He published this series of cards featuring Buffalo park scenes about 1910. This was just one of several series of view he produced. Several of his cards from these other series illustrate other pages within this site.
Wilson's cards were manufactured in Germany, and usually featured original
photographic views. While this particular series featured halftones set into an
embossed simulated photo mat of antique linen, most of his cards were
highlighted by pleasing handcolored views, often featuring children within the
scenes.
